About
Where In The World? is a geography game. You land somewhere in the world, look around through street-level imagery and try to figure out where you are. Then you mark the spot on the map, and the closer you get, the more points you score.
How to play
Each game has five rounds. In each one, you turn the camera and look for clues: the language on the signs, the side of the road, the vegetation, the kind of asphalt, the shape of the utility poles. When you have a guess, you mark it on the map. Hitting the exact spot is worth ten thousand points, and the score drops with the distance.
Game modes
- Classic Solo: five rounds, no rush.
- Timed: every round has a countdown.
- Multiplayer: the same game with friends, in real time.
- Stop: challenge your friends and see who is the quickest.
- Daily Challenge: the same round for everyone, once a day.
- By Country and Region: maps limited to one part of the world.
- Community Maps: maps put together by other players, with the spots they picked.
Any player can also create their own map and publish it to the community.
